Receiving and Sending Mail
Mailbox pods are located near each block of townhouses. In each pod, each unit has an assigned mailbox with keys. The pod also has a parcel box for USPS small package delivery. The nearest postal mailbox is at the northeast corner of the Snyder and Sabino Canyon Roads near Circle K. If a mailbox key is lost, the owner is responsible for the cost of replacement keys arranged through the post office.
Pet Rules
Pima County has a “Leash Law”. Pets must be on leashes except when in private, enclosed areas. According to Pima County Health Law, it is mandatory that pet droppings be picked up and disposed of immediately. Carry and use a disposal bag when walking your pet. To report severe pet concerns (barking dogs, tethered dogs, and unsanitary conditions), call (520) 724-5900, extension 4.
Guest Parking
Guests may park in a resident’s carport and driveway. There is also designated parking next to the clubhouse. Another option is to approach neighbors about guests parking in their driveway or in front of homes. Neighbor approval should be obtained before guests park in other owners’ areas.
Xeriscaping and Low Water Use Plants
Our goal in HVTIA is to use low water use plants as we replace or add plants to our landscape. The Board has reviewed and approved the plants shown on the AMWUA website. It offers beautiful plant photos and information on recommended plants.
