To drop off waste at any of the outreach sites, you are limited to 5 gallons of paint and you must
have proof of Pima County ownership, either a property tax statement or vehicle registration, or the
cost is $20. At the main facility at Prince and Sweetwater there are no requirements as to identification
or quantity limitation for homeowners.

A "Plain Language" Version of HVTIA Appearance Standards
- The HVTIA Board has the authority to enforce our agreements as necessary to protect the general welfare of all property owners.
- Quarterly, board members, block captains, and interested homeowners will walk the property to
review all association properties for safety and appearance compliance.
- No commercial signs are allowed except “For Rent” or “For Sale” signs.
- No unsightly structures or objects can be built or installed on your property.
- No rubbish, trash, or garbage allowed on your property.
- The condition of the mailbox is the homeowner’s responsibility.
- Garbage cans, recycle bins, equipment, tools, and similar items must be hidden from the street and your neighbors view.
- Maintenance of your driveway is your responsibility.
- Keep pets leashed, off other’s property, and if you’re exercising them in the community, immediately clean up after them.
- Each owner is responsible for any damage done to any property in the association by the owner, the
owner’s tenants, or the owner’s or tenant’s guests.
- The ONLY paint color for the exterior of your townhome, patio, and carport walls is Navajo White.
- No additions, alternations, or improvements to original structures can be done without submitting
detailed plans to the Board and getting approval. The Board can deny any structural changes they feel
don’t fit the look and aesthetic appearance of the community. Common wall changes, in addition to Board
approval, require the written approval of both owners.
- When visible from the street or neighbors property, carport interiors must be kept neat, orderly,
and should be cleaned at reasonable intervals.
- No repetitive or permanent activity that can reasonably be deemed as unsightly or hazardous is permitted in carports.
- After sixty days, stored vehicles must be screened so that they cannot be seen from the street or
neighbors property.
- If a homeowner refuses to make reasonable repairs and maintain their property in accordance community
standards, the Board has the authority to have the work done and charge the cost back to the owner.
- Townhome House Numbers: The police, emergency services, the post office, and delivery
services all request that your unit address should be large, easily visible from the street, and
displayed on both the front and back of your townhome. If you need help to increase the visibility
of your unit address, contact an appearance committee member.
